In this class, participants will learn the art and theory of hand balance. The handstand will be a major focus
with its development being split into four stages: Alignment, Support, Inversion, and Balance. In addition
to handstands, students have the option to work other inversions, arm balances, and partner balances. More
advanced practitioners can work to develop skills all the way up to one arm handstand. Also covered will
be general and skill-specific flexibility as well as strength and conditioning. Elements of acroyoga will be incorporated into the hand balance class.
