Acrobatic Gymnastics

Acrobatic Gymnastics is an ancient activity that emphasizes the combined beauty of dance and acrobatics. Acro is a partner sport- partners or groups of three or four perform acrobatics skills like balance holds, hand balancing, pyramids, toss, and catches. Acrobatic balances show grace, strength and flexibility while choreography and synchronization add flare and creativity to each exercise and routine. Acrobatic Gymnastics is even included in the training program of pilots, cosmonauts and parachutists.

AcroTumble

   Open to boys and girls, this class emphasizes proper technique and skills that include strength, flexibility
and balance training in order to master the Floor Area, Tumble Track, Fast Track and Trampoline. Participants
will learn how to jump, rebound, roll, handstand, cartwheel, round off, back/front flip, somersault and
much more.
Open to all skill levels from first-timers to performers (wanting to add to their skill set), to seasoned pros,
this class emphasizes proper technique and skills that include strength, flexibility,

Aerial Arts

   Open to boys and girls, this class emphasizes proper technique and skills that include strength, flexibility
and balance training in order to master all types of aerial apparatus including, rope, trapeze, hoop, straps
and silks.
Open to all skill levels from first-timers to performers (wanting to add to their skill set), to seasoned pros,
participants will learn how to hang, climb, and perform different body shapes/positions as well as gain
special awareness in order to safely execute inverted work.

Aerial Conditioning

      This class is designed to build physical strength essential for any aerial apparatus. Participants will begin with a warm up, engage in core work and full body conditioning, followed by stretching. This is the perfect class for any level as participants will move through various aerial exercises while building strength and form. New to aerial arts and looking for a “different” type of workout than you would get at a fitness center? This is the perfect class for you as you will see your body transform while pushing your limits in a fun, relaxed environment.

Flexibility & Stretch

        In this hour long class, participants will engage various exercises both individually and with a partner. This class will move through all major muscle groups focusing on gaining flexibility, increasing range of motion and obtaining an understanding of basic stretching techniques. Whether you are a seasoned performer or a beginner, this class is sure to be a great benefit. All levels are welcome.

Gymnastics

   Open to boys and girls, this class emphasizes proper technique and skills that include strength, flexibility
and balance training in order to master all types of gymnastics apparatus such as the Floor Area, Bars, Beam,
Vault, etc. Participants will learn how to tumble as well as hang, swing and accomplish a more upper body
focused skill set.

Hand Balance

   In this class, participants will learn the art and theory of hand balance. The handstand will be a major focus
with its development being split into four stages: Alignment, Support, Inversion, and Balance. In addition
to handstands, students have the option to work other inversions, arm balances, and partner balances. More
advanced practitioners can work to develop skills all the way up to one arm handstand. Also covered will
be general and skill-specific flexibility as well as strength and conditioning.

Parkour

   Originally created in France by The Yamakasi, David Belle and Sebastien Foucan, Parkour formerly known
as L’Art Du Deplacement, is a discipline that involves getting from one point to another while overcoming
challenging obstacles. Parkour is moving through space whether it is by running, climbing, jumping, or rolling
and flipping over obstacles. It has become more popular over the past few years and has grown amongst
the performing arts community as well as movies and commercials.

Pre-Cirque Gym

   Open to boys and girls, this class introduces the basic understanding of how to balance, run, jump, roll, hang
and swing. The emphasis of this class is having fun as well as providing the participants with the basic body
control and strength needed to safely perform basic cirque skills.

Strength and Conditioning / Bootcamp

   This 1 hour, high energy class, is open to those looking to reach personal fitness goals whether they be
weight loss, gaining definition, or achieving overall fitness and confidence. This class will take students
through running drills, weight drills, muscle endurance, and may just have a surprise or two! One will leave
this class feeling a higher level of performance and fitness than before walking in the door.

Tricking

       Tricking, originally known as Extreme Martial Arts, has evolved over the years to include a blend of breakdancing,   gymnastics, and martial arts, particularly taekwondo. Tricking involves the skill of twisting, flipping, and kicking all in one movement. Once this movement is set, students utilize the skills to create
combinations. You can now see tricking in many new movies and shows on TV or on the strip!
